The Alps will be affected by north-westerly winds at high altitudes. The foehn will continue to blow on the southern slopes.
In the morning, a few patches of cloud will drift in from the north, after which sunshine will prevail across most of the region. Conditions will remain somewhat changeable along the main Alpine crest.

Sunny weather is forecast for Wednesday, with maximum temperatures of up to 33°.
On Thursday, the weather will become progressively more unsettled. In the afternoon, there will be some showers and thunderstorms.
On Friday, too, the weather will remain changeable, with a mix of sunshine, clouds and showers.
On Saturday, the unsettled weather is expected to continue. A few showers are likely again during the day.

Changeable weather in the north, sunnier in the south
In the mountains to the north, visibility will be reduced at times by clouds, and showers are possible along the border ridge, particularly to the east of the Brenner Pass. In the southern mountain ranges, the weather will be mainly sunny. Strong north-westerly winds.
